Joyce has competed in Senior Badminton tournaments for 30 years. She has won a large number of local tournaments, and 304 National, International and World titles, with 15 of them current. She has been director of an uncountable number of tournaments over the past 50 years. She and her husband, Don, ran a juniors program, and coached juniors for 20 years.

Teri has worked as a program coordinator at the Redmond Senior Center for nearly ten years; and began promoting all types of dance when she became the Variety Show Coordinator in 1998 as a student intern. Her professional goal is to provide a wide variety of activities and programs for older adults in the greater Redmond area.

Dan Guzzo is a Graduate from Central Washington State College, is an avid golfer with a 9.0 handicap, has worked 7+ years as an assistant with Bogie and Associates, organizing Charity Golf Tournaments throughout the Northwest, and was Tournament Chairperson for the Seattle Mariner's Grounds Crew 2010 Charity Golf Tournament, raising over $11,000.00, which was donated to Northwest Harvest.

Bob Hassan has been involved in the Senior Olympics program for the past 9 years, mostly in Tenessee. He has represented Tennessee in horseshoes and table tennis at the past 4 National Senior Olympic Games. In 2007 he won the Gold Medal in horseshoes in the 60 to 64 age bracket at the Louisville National Senior Olympics (bronze in '03, silver in '05 and 8th place in '09). He is currently the secretary of the Seattle Horseshoe Club and the tournament director for 3 sanctioned tournaments to be held in Seattle this summer by the Washington Horseshoe Pitchers' Asociation (www.wshpa.com).

Bob Peterson has played Ice Hockey in the Seattle area for over 27 years and has competed in hockey tournaments throughout the west coast. He founded the Cascade Hockey League in 1989 and is currently the 40+ Division Director for the Greater Seattle Hockey League (GSHL). Bob created the NWSG Ice Hockey Tournament and has been the tournament commissioner since its first year in 2005.

Jayla has worked as a Recreation Specialist with Seattle Parks Lifelong Recreation for eight years, instructing Senior Adults in Line Dance since 1996, and active in the Ballroom Dance community for over three years.

Larry Silver has been highly involved in this wonderful sport in the Pacific Northwest, Arizona, California and Utah. He has also helped run many tournaments in these areas, and also National tournaments. Larry is a member and ambassador for the USAPA. Larry started playing Pickleball in 2001 and never looked back at playing other sports.

Marigrace Becker coordinates the Sound Steps Walking Program, a Seattle Parks and Recreation walking program for adults age 50+. She is currently completing her Masters in Social Work with a focus on aging. The Sound Steps program includes ongoing weekly walking groups and special events for active older adults.
Rob Robinson

Rob has been active in shuffleboard since 1994 and plays in about 15 tournaments in Arizona, 5 in Alberta, Canada, and a few in California and Florida. Rob got his first National Championship win in 2010 in Mesa, Az. He is the Commissioner for the Washington State Senior Games and Arizona Senior Games and also the seated chair person for the NSGA (National Senior Games Association) in Houston, Texas 2011, Cleveland, Ohio 2013, and Minneapolis, Minnesota 2015. Rob is the Director of the Western Shuffleboard Association National Open Team Tournament, held in Mesa, Az. each year (24 teams with 16-18 players each). Rob Robinson is N.S.A. President of Washington State.
Janet Kavadas
Swimming
Janet was certified as a lifeguard and water safety instructor during high school. She has been competing since 1974 at age 43 in Master Competition. Working out has been an important activity for her. She also began officiating at summer league and USA Swimming. She has been a Meet Director, Meets Coordinator for local Masters program, done most of the jobs involved in putting on meets, and spent about 8-10 years working with a friend to provide electronic timing for local swimming competition. Her experience contributed to her obtaining a job teaching water fitness at the Dale Turner Y (Shoreline) and she has also been instructing adults in swimming. She also officiates in track and field for all ages, including the Masters competition with the Seattle Parks Department.
Norm Ward

Norm Ward has been active in senior games for the past ten years and has been a Board member of NWSG and WSSG. A lifetime member of USATT, Norm has taught youth table tennis classes at Meadowbrook Community Center and senior table tennis classes at the Everett Senior Activity Center. Norm has also been table tennis commissioner for the Port Angeles Senior Games.
Howard Grossman

Howard Grossman was former Canadian Junior Champion, inducted into the California Table Tennis Hall of Fame in 1998. Howard, a lifelong table tennis athlete, is ranked 5th in his age category for table tennis in the US. Howard currently coaches and manages the Everett Senior Activities Center's table tennis program and tournaments.

Tim Pretare is a long term employee of Seattle Parks & Recreation, with a Masters Degree in Physical Education. He was a competitive swimmer in his youth and is now a practicing martial artist and Olympic weightlifter.
