Northwest Senior Games Badminton 2010

EVENT INFORMATION:There will be 2 Divisions, Recreational (Non-tournament Players) and Competitive, (Regular tournament Players). Age categories will start with age 40 with 5 year age increments. You may enter Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles up to 2 age groups in each event max 4 events. For example 40 Women's doubles and 45 Women's Doubles. Matches are best 2 out of 3 games to 21 points. Tournament format will depend on the number of entries. There will be consolation matches in all events unless they are Round Robin. Shuttlecocks are provided. Participants must provide their own racquet. USA Badminton rules will govern play.

• Friday 7:00 pm until finished Mixed Doubles all ages and first round mens singles, if necessary.
• Saturday Noon until finished : Women's Doubles all ages, Men's Doubles all ages.
Saturday 3:00 pm or when courts are available: Men's Singles and Women's Singles. Times will be adjusted after the draws are complete.

Helen Roome has competed in badminton since age 12. She has competed in many tournaments over the years. She is currently competing in masters tournaments, mostly in Canada.
