"This past spring, I volunteered for the Northwest Senior Games. I helped with pickleball, fencing, table tennis and track. It is wonderful to see how fit and skillful seniors are today... a 93-year-old man threw the shot put! I plan to assist again next year wherever I am needed for the games."  Joann

YOU CAN BE A PART OF SOMETHING SPECTACULAR!

We need volunteers for the 2010 Northwest Senior Games events

The Northwest Senior Games promotes fitness, athletic competition and camaraderie for seniors. You can help the Northwest Senior Games achieve its goals by volunteering your time, enthusiasm and expertise.

Competitions will be held in May, June and July. Each event depends on the volunteers, like you. While each sport will have specific needs, volunteer duties may include helping at the registration table, answering questions, taking care of food and beverage tables, timing/officiating, clean-up or presenting awards. The time commitment is usually 3-4 hours. You may volunteer at as many events as you like. You may volunteer with a spouse or friend. You may also participate in one event and volunteer in another event. This is a great way to find out what's going on in another sport!

All events are held in the Greater Seattle area. Please look over the list of dates and events. Then contact me to let me know what interests you and when you can help.
